Designed for 10th grade students, Old Testament Survey 1 is the first of two semester-long Bible courses that guide students through a study of the Old Testament. In this course, students examine the first eight books of the Old Testament. As they study stories of creation, covenant, rescue, and redemption, students gain a deeper understanding of God’s faithfulness and how the Old Testament points to Christ.

Lessons invite students to explore major events such as the call of Abraham, the Exodus, the giving of the Law, and the conquest of Canaan. Through reading, reflection, and Scripture study, students learn how the God of the Old Testament is still at work in their lives today.

Old Testament Survey 2 should be completed after this course.
